Hello! My name is Amy Spilker and I am the Social Media Coordinator for CRAVE-Omaha. I am an advertising and public relations student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and I think it goes without saying; I am a HUGE Husker fan! I also work at the University on the side in their Online and Distance Education division. I guess you could say I am a tom-boy turned pageant girl as I grew up with three brothers and love all sports as well as being outdoors. I got involved in pageants on a whim and was honored to hold the title of Miss Nebraska USA 2012 and competed at Miss USA June 2012. Many of the skills I acquired during that year I am able to implement with this position…walking in 6 inch heels not being one them : ) I also have a passion for great food which makes working for CRAVE that much more fun! Unfortunately all of the cooking talent went to my brother who is an executive chef in Lincoln. In my free time I love to read, bake, run, and spend time with my adorable 4 year border collie, Carson. I thoroughly love being a part of such an energetic team and the vibrant energy at CRAVE is unbeatable.
